CALIFORNIA STATE FAIR – July 12-28, 2019

Cal Expo — 1600 Exposition Blvd, Sacramento

Experience the annual state fair for the state of California showcasing California’s industries, agriculture, and diversity. The fair features blue-ribbon animal displays, culinary delights and competitions, live music concerts, a carnival, fireworks, and other family fun.

GRAPE DAYS OF SUMMER – July 20-21, 2019

Placer Wine Trail – Auburn, Granite Bay, Lincoln, Loomis, Newcastle, Meadow Vista, and Rocklin

Celebrate local wine, local food, and local agriculture during an annual PASSPORT-STYLE self-guided tour of the Placer Wine Trail. Enjoy wine tasting and food at every winery, music (at somelocations), and educational experiences at participating wineries along the trail. Guests can learn about local agriculture combined with a unique and educational experience. Learn about winemaking techniques, equipment, grapes, farming, and more!

Participating Wineries: Bear River, Bonitata, Cante Ao Vinho, Casque, Ciotti, Dono dal Cielo, Fawnridge, Lone Buffalo, Mount Saint Joseph, Mt. Vernon, PaZa, Pescatore, Rancho Roble, Secret Ravine, Viña Castellano, and Wise Villa.

MONTHLY SUMMER STREET FAIRS/FESTIVALS

Old Town Auburn Co-Op – July 18th, 2019

The ultimate community gathering event. Enjoy family friendly pop-up activities like climbing walls and skate-parks. Sip on the best wine, craft beer, and distilled spirits from the region. Taste incredible coffee, sweets and treats from local vendors. Support local artists and discover one-of-a-kind hand-crafted goods. Throw your arms up and dance along to live music performances. Connect with local farmers, nonprofits, and your community.

Be Sure Not to Miss: Local beer, wine & cocktails, food trucks and unique entertainment like drum circles and special activities for kids.

Downtown Auburn Sunday Public Market – July 28th, 2019

Live Music, Kids Art, Food & Drinks, Handmade Goods by Local Artisans
